Alexis became the newest member of “The Price Is Right” family in 2021. Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, she graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Apparel Merchandising and Product Design. After college, Alexis moved to Los Angeles to pursue a modeling career, landing campaigns for Target, Warby Parker, Jockey, and Kohl’s. She’s also been featured in Elle and Essence magazines and appeared on the award-winning daytime drama “The Bold and the Beautiful”.
When she’s not modeling or filming, you’ll find her indulging in her favorite hobbies—whether it’s a Pilates class or curling up on the couch to binge-watch a new show. Though she stays active in both her career and personal life, she’s also working on a passion project five-year plan she calls her “bucket list”.
One surprising fact about Alexis? Despite her frequent travel for work, she’s terrified of flying. Still, she faces her fears head-on, making her one to watch both on-screen and off. Keep your eyes peeled for what’s next!
What do you typically do when not taping THE PRICE IS RIGHT?
If I’m not filming, or at a photoshoot, I’m trying to find new ways to have fun. I recently made a ‘bucket list’ of things I want to accomplish in the next 5 years. So slowly but surely, I’m knocking those off the list which include such things as traveling to new places, seeking out new experiences, and building new skills.
What is your favorite thing about being a model on The PRICE IS RIGHT?
The Audience. The Contestants. The energy they bring to the studio is beyond electrifying. They bring me so much joy and make working on “The Price is Right” such a fun and an unforgettable experience. Even outside of filming, when I meet people and they learn I work on the show, I melt hearing how much they cherish TPIR… and I get to be a part of that?! I feel so lucky but also, iconic.
Since joining THE PRICE IS RIGHT, do you have a favorite moment or prize?
One of my personal favorites, that I think about quite often, happened within the first year I was on the show. A contestant won their game and made it to the showcase round, and won. I believe their prizes included some furniture and a vehicle, among other things. As we began to chat, the contestant revealed that the week prior, they had lost all of their belongings in a house fire, including their car, and this win was life changing for them. That was the exact moment when I knew I was a part of something very special. We get to have fun AND make a positive difference.
When thinking of your favorite restaurant, what would you order there?
Tacos, lots of Tacos, or maybe nachos and a side of plantains. A Mountain Dew to drink, but if I’m feeling spicy, a margarita.
What is your ideal vacation?
Anywhere that has my favorite people, sun, sand, and maybe a few animals.
